With havin so much content and articles do you ever run into any problems of plagorism or copyright violation? My website
has a lot of unique content I’ve either written myself or outsourced but
it appears a lot of it is popping it up all over the web without my
agreement. Do you know any methods to help protect against content from being ripped off?
    I’d really appreciate it.

The only ways I know to prevent people from stealing is:

      1. To have laws to discourage stealing.
      2. To enforce those laws.
      3. To raise children to respect the hard work of others.
      4. To mark your copyrights on your content to remind others that they are stealing if they take it.
      5. To respect other people’s copyrights if you want them to respect yours (in other words, if you steal music or software or other copyrighted content, don’t expect people to respect yours, be a good role model).

Unfortunately, there’s not much respect these days. People steal music, software, ebook content, blog content, stock photos, and much more, and as long as they think other people are doing it (without getting caught), they continue to do it too because they feel they will be protected by “safety in numbers” rather than basing their behavior on good ethical and moral foundations.

I have quite a few friends who used to be software developers with three or four employees each. Their employees were able to buy houses and feed their families. After piracy became rampant on the Internet, they all lost their businesses and they and their employees had to try to find other kinds of work.

I also have good friends in the publishing industry. When ebook readers became popular, agents had to close their doors, many publishers had to close their doors, many editors lost their jobs, and many writers had their royalties plunge from a living wage to a pittance due to ebook software piracy.

What goes round, comes round. Piracy = lost jobs. Free content is great, but it doesn’t pay the rent. There aren’t enough advertising dollars to go around for everyone to make up the difference with ad clicks.

    Hi,
I am just (as in moments ago) coming across Voynich. I have a knife that was given to me years ago with strange scrawling across the blade. I believe this is the language! Any insight into deciphering would be much appreciated!

Is there any way for you to show a sample of the text, enlarged?? I know some scientific circles now think the Voynich may have originated in Mexico, and writen in some ancient Aztec language
